Smart Payload Technology™ gives you the ability to adapt quickly to your client's needs. With pre-calibrated and easy to install payloads the conversion gives you more time to focus on the imagery and your client. The wide range of already supported camera and lens options range from 8K cameras, over state of the art broadcast options to high sensitivity sensors. By providing cameras and lenses yourself, you ensure the established workflows of your production.

Included in the conversion are one camera and lens combination conversion, additional payload conversions can be requested separately.


 


 

The Hardware
What is included in the conversion?

  • Increased bandwith of the slipring (supports emerging technologies in the market such as cameras with higher data rates, high speed, large formats etc.)
  • new inner gimbal with higher stability and improved speed
    (the system will be an Ultra configuration with SPT)

FAQ

Are there options to convert my ITAR gimbal into an non-ITAR version?

What has been exported under ITAR regulations always has to stay an defense article, disregarding all changes made to it. But Cineflex® is willing to accept your old system as trade-in credit towards the purchase of a new commercially regulated model (Non-ITAR).

What is the working temperature range after the conversion?
This depends on your cameras and lenses. Working range for the electronics themselves are: The operating temperature doesn't change.

What is the maximum output data rate?
Over optical fiber you'll get up to 80Gbt/sec.

How long does the conversion take?
We need around 2 months for a complete conversion. This is due to high demand and duration of shipments for all parts needed for it. We are happily assisting you to organize a replacement system.

Do we have to provide the camera and lens / What camera is included in the offer?
No camera and lens included In this conversion. You can provide a camera and lens to be converted for the use your updated Cineflex®. We (ACSE) can offer you lenses and cameras. Included in the offer is a complete conversion to the SMP for 1 camera lens combination. Ask us about your plans and we'll love to support you.

Will there be any geo functionality?
Following the conversion, your updated system will be able to support the GEO+ option which is sold separately.
